The past year has been a time of growth and impact for LA’s BEST. And it’s all thanks to the support of our incredible community. In 2025, we were able to:
- Expand access to high-quality, engaging expanded learning enrichment programs that give kids the freedom to explore their interests and develop new skills.
- Provide no cost programming at 201 LAUSD school sites and across 221 before and after school programs, serving 23,861 unique students.
- Launch our first Advocacy Cohort, empowering dedicated staff members to strengthen their leadership and elevate the voices of our communities in education policy conversations.
Across Los Angeles, funding for expanded learning programs is shrinking, even as more families rely on them. Working parents depend on LA’s BEST to keep program doors open and give their children safe, inspiring spaces to learn and thrive.
