Who is eligible for the LA’s BEST programs?
LA’s BEST Expanded Learning programs are available to elementary students who attend one of our partner LAUSD schools. Each school manages its own enrollment process, and priority is often given to students with the highest needs or families who require before or after school support. During the Summer, we have open enrollment for all of our participating schools.
What programs do you provide?
LA’s BEST offers safe, joyful, and high-quality Expanded Learning experiences before school and after school. Students explore arts, STEM, digital learning, sports, nutrition, literacy, and hands-on activities that build curiosity, confidence, and connection. See our programs here.

LA’s BEST is free for all families. Programs are supported through public funding and generous private partners so every student can access high-quality learning opportunities.

Families can apply online through the LA’s BEST online application and follow the steps for their school. LA’s BEST is open enrollment. For support, families can contact their school’s main office or the LA’s BEST Site Coordinator to check availability or get help completing the online application.
