LA's BEST Application
LA’s BEST Program provides a safe and supervised environment afterschool and during summer. We provide engaging and enriching activities to help students explore, discover and thrive.
Each LA’s BEST student receives a nutritious meal, academic support and the opportunity to participate in a wide array of enrichment activities.
LA's BEST operates whenever LAUSD schools are open. The program operates five days a week, Monday through Friday, from the time the last school bell rings until 6 PM, and it continues during the summer.

LA’s BEST will be accepting applications throughout the year.
LA’s BEST encourages students to fully benefit from our services by participating five days a week, Monday through Friday.
LA’s BEST will adhere to all LAUSD school guidelines to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Other Important Information
Only the legal parent or guardian is permitted to complete this application. For children living in the same household, each child's application must be completed by their legal parent or guardian.
You will have the opportunity to complete this application for multiple children.
LA’s BEST keeps all student and parent/guardian information confidential at all times, in accordance with LAUSD guidelines.
You will need the following information for all children:
- Emergency contact information for a minimum of 3 adults over 18 years of age
- Medical information for your child(ren)
This application process will take you approximately 20 - 30 minutes to complete. If you “refresh” or hit the “back” button while completing the form, your information will be deleted and you will need to start over. If needed, you can go back to a previous section by clicking the section number in the circle at the top of the form.
