Share The Journey on Wednesday, August 30th at BMO Stadium was a magical night! We are grateful to everyone who joined us!

Our wonderful host Sophie Flay, community journalist from ABC7 kicked off the evening followed by LA’s BEST students dancing Folklorico.

Speakers State Treasurer Fiona Ma and LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho shared words of wisdom that energized the room.

Honorees State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond and Keyla Santisteban, LA’s BEST alumna inspired us with their stories of triumph. The Honorable Wendy Greuel and Jorge Flores, representing June Sale eloquently shared the impact June had on the LA’s BEST and her tenacity for fighting for social justice throughout her life.  We invite you to watch their honoree videos below.

We are eternally grateful to our Share The Journey Host Committee who were instrumental in helping us surpass our fundraising goal and filled the room with fantastic supporters. Many thanks to our Boards for supporting the evening – and for always leading LA’s BEST to succeed.
