Alum London Brown, Actor & Outstanding Alumni Award Recipient, 2019
“I have so many fond memories of LA’s BEST. I’ve always been passionate about the arts - being able to perform on the Dance & Drill team was a great experience for me. That has carried over into a lot of other parts of my life - I minored in theatre and dance while I was in college. I will always carry LA’s BEST with me. ”
– Sarah Cash, 49th Street Elementary, 1996-2001
“I first got involved with LA’s BEST when I attended Hillside Elementary in Lincoln Heights in the third and fourth grades. The program truly served as the blueprint that laid the foundation to my career as a writer. In just two years I benefited incredibly, and now I want to do my part so that these programs not only survive, but thrive and continue shaping young, bright minds.”
