Pro-Day 2025

Over 950 LA’s BEST staff gathered at Roybal Learning Center for Pro-Day 2025, our largest professional development event of the year. The full-day experience was filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration—featuring 40+ interactive workshops, an energizing opening session, and a dynamic Resource Fair. Together, staff built new skills, shared ideas, and celebrated their impact on more than 25,000 students across Los Angeles. The day embodied the heart of LA’s BEST—connection, creativity, and community—leaving participants re-energized to continue creating joyful, supportive spaces where every child belongs.

On Saturday, October 11, more than 950 LA’s BEST staff from across Los Angeles came together at Roybal Learning Center for Pro-Day 2025—a powerful day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. The full-day event featured over 40 interactive workshops spanning youth voice and leadership, arts integration, wellness, STEM, and inclusive learning practices.

The day began with an uplifting opening session that celebrated the dedication, creativity, and care our staff bring to more than 25,000 students each year. Participants also explored a lively Resource Fair, connecting with partner organizations offering tools and opportunities to support student growth and enrichment.

Throughout the day, staff reflected on what drives their passion for this work. One participant shared, “Pro-Day reminded me why I show up every day—because our kids deserve spaces where they feel seen, supported, and inspired.” Another added, “It was motivating to connect with so many people who share the same purpose—to make learning joyful.”
